Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson of One Direction have been called a lot of things since they became the most famous boy band in the world but they probably never expected to be called a gay slur by a fellow celeb.
Apparently, the gaffe happened on live TV while the boys were still in the studio, though it's not clear if they caught the insult or not.
Andy Cohen told the Today Show hosts that he barged right into a room full of "twinks" on set.
"This morning, I went into the normal green room that we typically go into. I barged in, there are all these people in front of us. Oh, it's all the leftover One Direction fans. I barged right into a room of twinks: One Direction! Security was not exactly too tight, with all due respect. I barged right in. It was crazy!" he said.
He also called them twinks on his twitter page so he obviously knew exactly what he was saying and didn't just use the word by accident on TV.
The word "twink" is used to describe a young gay boy and is considered very offensive to many.
Though Cohen has apologized, he still has the offensive tweet up on his Twitter page making it seem like his apology isn't sincere.
