Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart reconciled just in time (cough) for the Breaking Dawn: Part 2 promotion, which began last month. But once their professional obligations to the Twilight Saga franchise are over, will they be dunzo, too?
According to In Touch (via Hollywood Life), RPattz is planning to dump KStew as soon as their Breaking Dawn: Part 2 promotional duties are over.
"He's been waiting for all the promotion for Breaking Dawn: Part 2 to be over, and then he's going to move on fully," a "source" tells the mag. "He won't have a tie to her after all this is done, and then he won't be forced to see her. ... Rob loves her; he always will. But it's over in his mind. For any relationship to survive, there has to be trust. And Kristen lost Rob's."
Hopefully that's the case. Hopefully Rob is just letting Kristen's publicists and the studio pretend that they're back together as a publicity stunt, and hopefully he didn't actually forgive her after she publicly cheated on and humiliated him. How bad would he look, how spineless and codependent, if he really did take her back? But ever since the duo "reconciled," for as hard as Team Stewart and the studio have tried to convince the public that everything is just fine, there have been some reports that the relationship isn't entirely back on track: He allegedly doesn't believe her claims that she didn't have sex with Rupert Sanders, and several eyewitnesses claim that she reportedly told him not to kiss or touch her when they were out in public recently. That doesn't sound like they've moved past her "momentary indiscretion" with Rupert, if they actually have reconciled, which is doubtful. So hopefully In Touch is right about something for once and Rob is planning to make a "clean break" once their professional obligations have ended.
What do you think? Is Robert Pattinson planning to dump Kristen Stewart when their Breaking Dawn: Part 2 promotional obligations end? Is their whole "reconciliation" just a publicity stunt? Sound off in the comments!
