Leah Messer-Calvert and Corey Simms experienced heartache when one of their twin girls began developing much slower than the other. The Teen Mom 2 couple struggled with the thought that their baby Ali may not ever walk, but alas, she did and now she's moving around just like her twin. Yesterday, Leah took Ali took the doctor for one of her regular appointment, and she got some great news.
"You've came so far my little sunshine! What ever obstacles there is, you will jump them," Leah tweeted following the check-up. While Leah still doesn't know what it is that is causing Ali to develop slower, doctors may get to the bottom of it soon. "It's steps to taking us closer to the question, why!? && that's a relief for all of us," she added.
Leah and Corey have both gone through a lot with Ali and the greatest fear of all has been the unknown. They may still be in the dark about that, but they are staying positive and the progress Ali has made is promising to every one. Whatever it may be, they will get through it one way or another.
For now, all Leah and her family can do is pray, and they've been doing plenty of that since she was born.
