It seems Kristen Stewart is in and Rupert Sanders is out—at least where the Snow White and the Huntsman sequel is concerned. Kristen will reprise her role in the sequel but Rupert Sanders won't serve as director this time around.
According to a report from RadarOnline, Robert Pattinson is likely breathing a huge sigh of relief knowing Rupert Sanders—the man Kristen cheated on him with—won't be directing the sequel.
"The script has already been written and production will begin late next year," a source says. "However, Rupert Sanders definitely won't be a part of the project. Rupert didn't want to be a part of it to begin with because he is desperately still trying to save his marriage. The search is still on for a new director."
If not for this upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman sequel project, Kristen has no acting jobs on the horizon. Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiered nationwide on Friday. She and Robert Pattinson traveled to London, Madrid and Berlin for premieres in those countries, too. They're presently laying low in London for a few days to catch their breath following all the Breaking Dawn Part 2 excitement.
Kristen is actually concerned that her affair with Rupert Sanders may be hampering her getting future jobs.
"Kristen is extremely concerned about her acting career," the source says. "Other than the Snow White sequel she isn't attached to any other projects. There are scripts coming in, but not as many good ones as she would like. It's distressing to Kristen that Rob is attached to four separate movies over the next year-and-a-half. Even her Twilight co-stars, Taylor Lautner and Ashley Greene, are more in demand than ever, with both committed to two different movies each. Kristen just hopes that that the fallout over her relationship with Rupert doesn't hurt her career."
Do you think Kristen Stewart will eventually see a post-Breaking Dawn Part 2 influx of job offers? Will producers take a chance on the actress who brought Bella Swan to life throughout five films, or is she now labeled a home wrecker on film sets?
