Gretchen Rossi has been busy in court this week. First, the Real Housewives of Orange County star won her lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend Jay Photoglau and was awarded over $500k. Now, Gretchen has been granted a restraining order against him as well.
"For safe measure, Gretchen, who was repped by attorney Gregory G. Brown, went back to court to get a permanent restraining order against Photoglou, which she got today," reports TMZ. "He's required to stay 100 feet away from her and he can't call any of her businesses." Jay has caused plenty of heartache for Gretchen, even accusing her of sleeping with him while engaged to her later fiance Jeff.
Now, Gretchen can sleep sound knowing that not only will he not being talking badly about her, he also won't be popping out from behind any corners. After the judge ordered Jay to pay her over a half million dollars, Jay had to have been upset, so getting a restraining order was definitely a good idea for Gretchen.
Gretchen tells TMZ, "I'm pleased the judge recognized the danger Photoglou posed."
Meanwhile, Gretchen Rossi is busy filming the eighth season of Real Housewives of Orange County which will debut sometime next year. Now that this mess is behind her, she can focus on her role and building her brand.
