Talk show hostess Wendy Williams bared it all for PETA. While she may not be the first celebrity to do so, or even the most famous, it's still a surprise. Full nudity just isn't the sort of thing one might expect out of the funny woman, unless it was for a joke.
However, Williams is passionate about saving animals and she's dead set against using them for luxury items like fur coats. She doesn't believe such items need to be a hallmark to note a celebrity's success. She's right of course. Who and what those individuals are as people should be enough to accomplish that.
The billboard in which Williams will appear in Times Square says it all. "I'd rather go naked than wear fur." She's in good company too with George Clooney's ex, Elisabetta Canalis, actresses Taraji P. Henson, Famke Jansen and Olivia Munn, reality queen, Bethenny Frankel and many others. Even David Navarro bared it all, touting, "Ink, not mink." So did Corey Feldman and wife. In fact, going naked for PETA is all the craze for celebrities with a conscious.
