Jennifer Lawrence of Hunger Games has never been one to mince words and she's done it again. Lawrence flat out admitted that acting is "stupid." Shocking as this admittance is, no one is really shocked.
The grounded actress will always be the first to remind others that what she does for a job isn't nearly as important as what some others do. In an interview with Vanity Fair, the blonde bombshell stated, "Not to sound rude, but [acting] is stupid."
Lawrence continued by saying, "Everybody's like, 'How can you remain with a level head?'"
Her response? It's simple, "Why would I ever get cocky? I'm not saving anybody's life. There are doctors who save lives and firemen who run into burning buildings. I'm making movies. It's stupid."
If that isn't one of the most honest things an actress has ever said, what is?
Jennifer Lawrence may be eye candy for many but beneath that pretty face is a whole lot of brains and guts. It takes a lot to be that frank. There are a slew of directors who would cringe at such honesty about the business. Fortunately, if Lawrence ever gets black listed from Hollywood, she can become something of true importance, like a nurse.
