Miley Cyrus has adopted a new furry friend in the wake of her puppy Lila's untimely death. This little beauty is a chihuahua mix named Bean and she is absolutely precious.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, the former Hannah Montana star is a huge animal rights activist and also promotes adopting pets from shelters rather than buying them from breeders. All Miley and fiance Liam Hemsworth's dogs have been shelter dogs so it only makes sense she would adopt this new baby, too.
Lila died tragically when Miley's other dog Ziggy mauled her. As a result she ended up giving up Ziggy as well. Now she has adopted Bean and fans can see the photo of a very happy Party in the USA singer along with her furry bundle of joy by clicking on the Hollywood Life link above.
Miley Cyrus announced Bean's adoption via Twitter with a photo and a simple sentence saying, "Meet Bean." She included some info about Spot Rescue Dogs, an agency that rescues non-specific breeds—also known as mutts.
Congrats to Miley on the adoption of Bean. Hopefully this little love ball of fur will ease the pain she's endured in her loss of Lila.
