Bethenny Frankel of both The Real Housewives of New York and Bethenny, Ever After fame has filed for divorce from her husband of almost three years, Jason Hoppy.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, Frankel first announced her separation from Hoppy just two days before Christmas. Soon after the couple said they had plans to work things out.
Frankel took her and Hoppy's daughter Bryn to Colorado in order to give Jason the time he needed to move his things from the family's home.
"It's not a healthy situation for them to be leaving under the same roof together because Bethenny doesn't intend on getting back together with him," a source close to the couple says. "Bethenny wanted out of the Big Apple since announcing her separation to Jason. Jason wasn't invited on the trip, and this is the second trip that Bethenny has taken with Bryn in the last two months without Jason. Jason didn't want Bethenny to go to Aspen for New Year's and wanted to spend time with his wife and daughter, but she refused. Jason's entire world has been turned upside down, and he is absolutely lost right now."
Do you think the Skinnygirl creator has had this split planned for a while now? It certainly doesn't sound like she spent much time trying to work things out with Jason Hoppy between the time she announced the couple's separation on Twitter and the time she filed for divorce.

All my best to Mr. Hoppy. He deserves better in the wife department.
And his sweet parents certainly deserve a better daughter-in-law, especially after everything they've been through.
She deserves to be alone with her money.
