Justin Bieber is having a bit of a rough go of it lately; the "Boyfriend" singer has lost his girlfriend, Selena Gomez (for now, anyway) and he's in the weeds (literally) with his marijuana smoking controversy. But has the 18-year-old pop sensation resorted to sheer cell-phone madness in trying to win Gomez back?
Apparently Bieber has been desperation-dialing Gomez since their big split in Mexico about a week ago, which had Gomez jetting off before the couple could spend a romantic New Year's Eve together. "Justin's devastated and pathetic right now. He's calling her 100 times a day and she's not picking up," a source close to the singer-actress exclusively revealed to Hollywood Life.
While it seems rather unlikely and a bit exaggerated that the Biebs would—or even could, given his busy tour schedule—try to call his off-again girlfriend 100 times a day, the fact that he wants to repair the relationship and doesn't want to lose Gomez is not so far-fetched.
In fact, Justin Bieber has reportedly even added what manager Scooter Braun described as a really "heartfelt" song to his Believe acoustic album. This last-minute track could be a last-ditch effort to get through to Selena Gomez with his music and lyrics. And it may prove far more effective than those phone calls she's not answering.
If not, at least Bieber still has a crush of fans who will love him. And he's making sure he stays loyal to them, even recently tweeting that he never wants to let any of them down.
