Justin Bieber's Mom Produces Anti-Abortion Film

Justin Bieber's mom Pattie Mallette, just wrapped filming an anti-abortion short film, for which she served as executive producer.

According to a report from Yahoo, called Crescendo, the film will be used to raise money for pregnancy centers around the country. Justin's mom has plans to appear at several screenings around the world, starting in late February.

As a teenage mom herself, Mallette has spoken out on many occasions about the abuse and addiction that led to her own pregnancy. She hopes her involvement with the project will cause young moms to seek help from a pregnancy center.

In a written statement, she said she wants to see the film "encourage young women all over the world, just like me, to let them know that there is a place to go, people who will take care of you and a safe home to live in if you are pregnant and think you have nowhere else to turn."

Justin Bieber has long spoken out about his mom being just a young teen when he was born, and he has said on more than one occasion that he's glad she didn't abort her baby.

Do you think the fact that Pattie Mallette is Justin's mom will make young teens more apt to turn to one of the pregnancy centers funded by this short film? The As Long As You Love Me singer is known far and wide and is beloved by most. This may in fact be an intelligent and very meaningful way for Pattie Mallette to ride on her famous son's coattails.
