Miley Cyrus is sporting new ink, and while her getting another tattoo certainly isn't that noteworthy, this time the tat artist is. Kat Von D inked the former Hannah Montana star this time around and the results are quite impressive.
According to a report from omg!, Miley had Kat Von D create two arrows, crisscrossed, on the back of her right bicep.
The new tat represents 'friendship' in the Native American culture. The crossed arrows indicate the bringing together of two people or two groups of people. You can check out Kat VOn D's art work by click
ing on the omg! link above. Kat actually designed this tattoo especially for the Party in the USA singer, so that makes Miley's new ink even more special.
Kat Von D took to Twitter to boast her work and her connection with Miley.
"Loved tattooing @MileyCyrus yesterday!" she wrote, including this same photo. "Simple symbols of friendship make beautiful tattoos."
What do you think of Miley Cyrus's new tattoo? Do you love the symbolism? And how about Kat Von D—are you a fan of her work?
It will be very interesting to see if other celebrities—maybe even Liam Hemsworth—contact the talented artist for a similar symbol of friendship.
