Adam Lambert's 'We Are Family Foundation' Birthday Campaign a Huge Success

For his birthday last week, Adam Lambert asked fans to celebrate by donating to "We Are Family Foundation." The donation total has been revealed and the birthday campaign was a huge success! Adam and his fans raised more than $82,000 in celebration of his birthday and receiving the "Unity Award" at the "We Are Family Foundation Celebration Gala 2.0" on January 31, 2013 in New York. According to the organization, the money raised will help continue their programs supporting Global Teen Leaders' work around the world.

As an incentive to donate, people who gave $31 or more had the opportunity to upload a 10 second video birthday message for Adam. For donations under $31, fans could sign his birthday card. You can take a look at the videos and signatures posted by We Are Family Foundation.

Adam is a great inspiration for many and this is easily seen in the success of his birthday campaigns. In addition to the money raised this year for We Are Family Foundation, he has also brought in more than $400,000 for Charity: Water organization with previous birthdays. Adam's birthday was great motivation for donating, but remember that you can always continue to support the work of We Are Family Foundation and more of Adam's favorite charities, such as Charity: water, The Trevor Project and Donorschoose.org.
