Why did Kate Gosselin tweet her thanks to a couple of Twitter hackers? Aren't the hackers usually the bad guys?
According to a report from RadarOnline, a hacker known as Mad British Guy claims to be a DOX Master—someone who can retrieve personal information about people via social media. Information like fu
ll name, aliases, a physical address and phone numbers and even a person's social security number. This isn't good. So why did the former Kate Plus Eight and Jon & Kate Plus 8 reality show star thank him and one of his associates?
"It's all about LOVE here today, (&everyday now) thanks to @MadBritishGuy and @Anonym0usNL !! Bring on the love, everyone! I'm feeling it:)" Kate tweeted.
It seems Mad British Guy and Anonym0usNL didn't hack Kate. Instead they hacked her haters and her critics.
Does it still seem a bit odd that Kate would thank people taking part in a criminal act? Who's to say they won't turn around and hack her account next time—if they haven't already done so?
Is Kate Gosselin playing with fire on the internet? What is the mom of eight thinking by encouraging this kind of illegal activity?
Several of Kate's fans asked this exact question in a series of tweets you can see by visiting the RadarOnline link above.
Eventually she relented, agreeing with her fans. Her next tweet to the hackers certainly doesn't indicate she fully understands exactly what she's dealing with.
"Hey @Anonym0usNL and @MadBritishGuy love u but can u tone down ur language on here 4 me,my crowd of moms&kids?(not trying 2 b UR moms,but..)." after she thought the pair were using vulgar language in her defense that could offend her fans.
Oh dear, Kate. What on earth is inside that pretty blonde head?
