Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev of 'Vampire Diaries': From Needing Heat to Being Locked Out

Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev of Vampire Diaries have proved that under their celebrity gloss they are just human like everyone else. Somerhalder suffers from the cold sometimes and even beautiful Dobrev occasionally gets locked out of her own house.

Last night, Somerhalder tweeted, "Thanking the Carboniferous period right now-b/c this damn heater is keeping me warm on set. 31 degrees..." along with an Instagram photo of his heater. And fans thought Nina was his heater, ha. Apparently, even the cool get cold.

Meanwhile, Dobrev's elegance on Oscar night was betrayed by her human blunder. It's a wonder she was able to arrive at Elton John's annual AIDS Foundation Party on time and looking fabulous when she'd been locked out of house and home just a few hours earlier.

It's so easy to elevate celebrities like Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev to near god-like statuses that sometimes fans forget they are human too.
