Paris Jackson would like to see her dad Michael Jackson's home, Neverland, restored for the benefit of underprivileged children. This sounds like something her late father would have loved.
According to a report from RadarOnline, Paris has some wonderful memories of growing up with Michael Jackson and her brothers at Neverland Valley Ranch. She went back to visit there just a couple of years ago.
"I cried and I cried. It's beautiful there. It still has good energy," she said in an interview with The Mail.
Michael Jackson almost lost Neverland to foreclosure twice, and as it stands now it is owned by Colony Capital LLC, with Michael's estate holding just over 12 percent interest, and when Paris becomes of legal age she wants to take on the project of making it a mecca for children. She might have some help, too.
Lady Gaga is also very interested in investing in Neverland and she, too, would like to see it benefit both children and animals.
Might Paris Jackson work in conjunction with Lady Gaga to turn Neverland into something that would have made Michael Jackson proud? His passion was children, and if he thought his beloved ranch was providing something kids were missing, he'd likely be thrilled about the project.
He would no doubt be even more pleased to known that daughter Paris was at the helm of the project. Are you impressed with the young woman Paris has become? Given the tragedy of her father's death and the subsequent chaos among Jackson family members, it's a wonder she didn't travel down a much different path. Instead Paris is mature and sensible and loves all things normal teen girls love. She has that incredibly grown up side—the kind kids develop when they've withstood tremendous loss. She will hopefully utilize that side to reach out to others, and in doing so heal herself as well.
Can you see Neverland as a place for underprivileged children?
