If you don't know Beck Bennett by name, you'll certainly recognize him as the funny man in the popular AT&T commercials--the one who gets kids to say some pretty funny things. Now it's rumored that this funny guy might very well wind up one of the regular cast members on SNL this fall.
According to a report from Celebuzz, Bennett is one of five rumored new cast members to join Saturday Night Live in the wake of Jason Sudeikis, Bill Harder and Fred Armisen's depatures--and the fact that Seth Meyers is leaving at the end of the year to take Jimmy Fallon's Late Night spot.
Bennett is known for AT&T's 'It's Not Complicated' series of ads, where he appears surrounded by small children and in his deadpan manner manages to make perfect sense of the silly things some of the children say.
Other rumored new cast members include Noel Wells, John Milhiser, Michael Patrick O'Brien and Kyle Mooney. Do you think Beck Bennett would contribute something significant as part of the SNL cast this fall? It certainly seems like he might be an excellent addition to the gang.
