Rapper Eminem--a.k.a. Marshall Mathers--is old enough to have a daughter in high school. How does that make you feel? And that daughter, Hailie Scott--was crowned homecoming queen at her high school on Friday.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, it first became clear that Hailie was the center of the rapper's life when he released his 2002 hit, Hailie's Song.
It's uncertain whether all of Hailie Scott's friends at Chippewa Valley High School know exactly whose daughter she is. The different last names make it easy to conceal that fact should she choose to do so. Sometimes it's hard for kids with famous parents to know whether other kids are befriending them for who they are or for the celebrity status they are privy to.
There's absolutely no doubt that Mathers is incredibly proud of his daughter for being crowned homecoming queen--especially because this is an honor that is voted on by the other students. That makes it all that more special.
Kudos to Eminem for having such a popular daughter. It's hard to believe he (not to mention many of his fans!) has reached 'that age!'
