Phaedra Parks' husband, Apollo Nida, was arrested on Thursday in Atlanta after arriving home from a trip to New York City earlier in the week.
According to reports, Nida surrendered to US Marshalls yesterday on charges of brink fraud and aggravated identity fraud.
Sandra Rose sources claim Nida has been secretly committing bank fraud since 2009 when he was released from prison for breaking federal racketeering laws related to auto title fraud.
After going before a judge, Nida was released on pretrial bond, which is a bit strange given that he is on parole. In this case, it would make sense for Nida to be charged with a probation violation, but he wasn't.
Since being released from prison, Nida has welcomed two children with Parks and the pair have been starring on The Real Housewives of Atlanta together.
At this point, Nida is facing not only serious charges, but also a parole violation, so jail is very much a possibility, and if Parks was in on the crimes, she could be facing time as well.
Oddly, Parks' fellow Bravo star Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe Giudice are also currently facing fraud charges.
